Beyond Meat (BYND) took a header after its COO’s alleged nose-biting incident.

But it’s showing strong signs of life today.

All after it and Yum Brands announced a partnership to launch the Beyond Carne Asada Steak at specific Taco Bell restaurants in Ohio.  “We know that consumers are looking for diverse protein options that are better for the planet without compromising on taste, so we’re incredibly excited to launch our brand-new, innovative Beyond Carne Asada Steak,” Dariush Ajami, Beyond Meat’s chief innovation officer, said a company press release.

Even better, there’s massive demand for plant-based foods. So much so, the market could be worth up to $74.2 billion by 2027, according to Research and Markets.  By 2030, according to Fortune, sales are expected to increase five-fold by 2030.All as millions adopt healthier, meat-free lifestyles. Tyson, Smithfield, Perdue, Hormel, and Nestle are all jumping on bandwagon, selling plant-based products, too.
